Do not confuse the trappings of life for happiness and success. Trappings and possessions can come and go, to hang your joy on such, would leave you feeling exposed, uncertain and powerless.
When you have to work hard to maintain such trappings, you don’t have them – they have you.
Your happiness is an inside job, when you realise this, no one can touch your happiness. Trappings can be pleasant, but they must not be the only source of your happiness.
